At Wilson Place Museum, volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do. From greeting guests to helping with special events, every hour you give brings history to life for our visitors. Whether you love local heritage, enjoy hands-on projects, or just want to connect with your community, there’s a place for you here.
Why Volunteer?
Be part of history — literally!
Meet people who share your passions
Develop new skills and gain experience
Make a lasting impact in your community
Volunteer Roles
We have opportunities to suit every interest and schedule:
Museum Greeters – Welcome guests and answer basic questions
Tour Assistants – Help with guided tours or special events
Event Helpers – Support seasonal events, family days, and fundraisers
Archivists & Researchers – Assist with collections and storytelling
Creative Volunteers – Help with signage, social media, photography, or costume prep!
50th Anniversary Celebration – Reach out… there are many activities that we could use your help with. This is a three day event on Friday, June 26th, Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th, 2026
Time Commitment
We’re flexible! Volunteer weekly, monthly, or just for special events. Every bit of help counts.
